When I was invited to sit down with Mattheiu Ricard, a Budhist monk who acts as the right hand to the Dalai Lama, at The Players Club in NYC for an exclusive interview I jumped at the chance. Despite the fact that I interview celebs for a living, I was super nervous to meet Mattheiu. Thanks to Muse, a new device to help people meditate, and The Path, a group that brings meditation to the masses, I had my one-on-one. Being in his prescence alone was an honor. Here are his thoughts on cultivating happiness, his Ted Talk that has over five million views and alturism.

Cristina Carlino, Entrepeneur & Founder of Philosophy
When I first learned of Christina Carlino a few weeks ago, it was because she was launching a new product line that was right up my alley – Archetypes, a fragrance collection catered towards the language of the soul. When I came to find out she's also the brains behind one of my favorite beauty brands, Philosophy, I couldn't wait to talk to her. A spiritual entrepreneur who loves beauty products? The stars were aligned.
Jonathan Adler, Potter, Designer & Author
One of my favorite parts of my job is interviewing people I admire. If you've ever stepped into my apartment, you'd know that designer, Jonathan Adler, is among them. Here, he dishes on the best advice he's ever gotten and how it affected his success as well as his dream partnership.
Anna Ayers & Fabian Lliguin, Founders of Rahua
I first met Anna Ayers and Fabian Lliguin back in 2007 when they introduced me to the best kept secret from the Amazon Rainforest – Rahua Elixir, a coveted hair oil that helps promote longer, stronger hair. Since, I've had the pleasure to watch their brand expand and hear all about their trips to the rainforest, where they find the purest ingredients.
Aliza Licht, DKNY PR Girl & Author
I first met Aliza Licht aka DKNY PR Girl when I partnered with DKNY Fragrances for a fun project a few years ago. She was striking. As the SVP of Global Communications for Donna Karan, she had a coveted job, red hair to die for and was ahead of the curve when she embraced social media for the brand. As someone I admire, it was a pleasure to chat with her about her new book, Leave Your Mark, and get to know her a bit better.
Jeannie Mai, TV Host & Stylist
You may know her from the talk show, The Real, but I've known Jeannine Mai for years thanks to her styling skills. we caught up last week and she filled me in on her Gratitude diary, latest partnership with unilever, & favorite makeup look of all time. Did you know she used to be a mac makeup artist?
Jordana Brewster, Actress
I had the pleasure of meeting Fast & Furious actress, Jordana Brewster and her mother, former model, Maria Joao, at the Gansevoort Park Hotel in NYC. As the new faces of Ponds, the duo beamed with excitement to discuss their skincare regimen and gave off a passionate vibe for life. I spoke with Jordana privately to find out about her fitness regimen, living beautifully and posing nude for Allure.
