What's in your medicine cabinet?
A wide assortment of Chanel men’s products: Platinum Egoiste deodorant, Platinum Egoiste bath and shower gel, Allure Homme Sport hair and body wash, Pour Monsieur after shave moisturizer, Men’s Lab products: Mulit-action face wash, Invigorating face scrub, Power wash, Power protector SPF 50, and Tend Skin.
I’ve been a big Chanel products fan since receiving a gift set in college for the holidays. As a guy, I get told I smell often, so it’s worth it. Men’s Lab makes quality products; I especially like using the face scrub before shaving and use the Power protector w/SPF 50 daily including as a sunscreen during the summer.
What product can’t you live without and why?
Chanel Platinum Egoiste deodorant. I have these hidden away all over the place (gym bag, bedroom, medicine cabinet. etc) and buy several at one time. I’ve used this product for so long I can’t imagine not having it. I’m a creature of habit.
How would you describe your grooming habits?
Despite the long list of fancy metro sexual products, I consider myself to be a low maintenance guy. On a typical day, I jump in the shower, slather myself up with one of the body wash’s from head to toe, floss, brush my teeth, rub some moisturizer on my face and I’m off 5 min later.
Now be honest, how would a woman describe your grooming habits?
Kind of impressed. I’ve had some help along the way from past girlfriends. The Chanel products seem to be a crowd pleaser.
When prepping to go out on a date what are the three things you make sure you do?
Shave, mouthwash, and get a little more diligent with the body wash.
If you could have one night with any celebrity who would it be and why? More importantly, what would you do?
Teresa Palmer. She’s incredibly beautiful, she has an Australian accent, and in the trailer for “I am Number 4” she’s kicking ass in a black leather jump suit and walking away from explosions without looking behind. I would spend a day with her on Cape Cod, boating to the Vineyard, biking around the island, eating lobster rolls, and lying on the beach until the sun went down.
What’s the first thing you notice about a woman?
Am I seeing her for the first time from the back or front? Nothing trumps a pretty face.
When it comes to a woman’s beauty what’s your sweet spot?
Good skin and toned arms.
You all know I'm a huge fan of AXE scents and it just so happens that my boyfriend, Joe, is too. Therefore, when I first heard that they were coming out with a new scent called Excite, he was the first person I called and we put the new collection to the test.
Being a dedicated user of AXE in Leather, Joe's open to experimenting with new products from brands that are familiar to him. I'm a lucky girl! So were the results as dramatic as the commercials? Did he spritz it and find me running over to him from the other room to tackle him? No, but as AXE says, it did "make the nice girl sin when tempted."
I used to never tell people what fragrance I wore. I loved that my scent was my secret. However, after being in the beauty industry for almost 6 years, spritzing everything I got my hands on, I've finally found my two perfect fragrances and have to share! This is quite the accomplishment! So here's my secret – Tocca eau de parfum Florence for day and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Lumiere Noire for night.
When I first heard about the Crest 3D White 2 Hour Express Whitestrips I was thrilled and couldn't wait to try them to begin my Spring renewal. They claim to give you whiter teeth in just one, two hour treatment. Normally, I use Crest 3D White Strips nightly to whiten my teeth and keep them white.
I finally found a day where I sat in and blogged and was able to use the strips for two hours. Like the other white strips I use regularly, they stayed put on my teeth and I was able to drink water while wearing them. Once the two hours was up, I was very pleased with the results. Two hours may seem like a long time, but for noticeably whiter teeth, it's beyond worth it.
Have I ever told you about "elbow pits?" The phrase was coined by one of my BFF's from college, Michele, and was often topic of conversation thanks to Dove body wash. The elbow pit is the top flesh area where your elbow bends. Michele and I were roommates one year and both used Dove in the shower and all day long Michele would sniff her elbow pits just to smell that fresh scent. Of course, I started sniffing my elbow pits too.
Last week I had lunch with the PR girls from Dove and told them about elbow pits and they sent me a bunch of their new body washes, the Dove VisibleCare Creme Body Wash to test out on my elbow pits (and the rest of my body). As expected, they smell just as fresh as the Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash I used to use, but they're richer. I felt like I was applying body lotion in the shower and loved every second of it. It was soft, thick and creamy. I lathered up and will make the switch.
In the very beginning of the year I met with the women who created a new skincare line, Stemulation for dinner. Being that I learn about new skincare lines almost everyday when I first sat down I didn't have major expectations. However, when they told me their age, I was in shock. After hearing there was no Botox or injections involved in their youthful looking skin I was intrigued to say the least to learn more about the line.
I learned that the 
I have to admit, I get sent a lot of products to test and being one person, there's only so much I can try at one time. That being said, I have not tried Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara until now. I'm kind of a mascara snob and no matter what I try, I've always reverted back to my MAC Zoom Lash – until now.
