I love discovering new, indie beauty brands that really cut through the clutter. As a beauty writer for the past ten years, I'm hard to impress, but when I see something different, I have to get my hands on it. I first discovered Tréstique at the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) product demonstration last month. It was one of the few highlighted indie beauty brands that I stopped to learn about. Now, I have their sticks and crayons in all of my bags.
When it comes to makeup, I'm a less is more type of girl. I opt for creams and liquids over powders, because they tend to melt into my skin and give off a more natural look. One product I have a real weakness for is illuminators. Each time I sort through packages that come in every day, I get so excited to try a new highlighter. Here are my three current favorites.
