3 Best Highlighters for Summer

When it comes to makeup, I'm a less is more type of girl.  I opt for creams and liquids over powders, because they melt into my skin and give off a more natural look.  One product I have a real weakness for is illuminators.  Each time I sort through packages that come in every day, I get so excited to try a new highlighter.  Here are my three current favorites for all different looks.

For the luxorious

Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter

$44 at marcjacobs.com

First of all, this smells faintly of coconut.  Not like the coconut smell you find in some SPFs in order to make them smell like the beach, but just a hint to make you think of summer.  A tiny drop goes a long way and the gel-cream like formula lights up your skin.  Inspired by coconut water, it's also laced with coconut and provitamin B5 to help hydrate your skin.

For the J. Lo glow

Elcie The Glow Enhancer

$48 at elciecosmetics.com

This dry oil is good for all skin types.  It quickly absorbs into your skin and leaves a gorgeous mineral shimmer behind giving you that J. Lo glow.  I like it, because you can use it alone or before your foundation or tinted moisturizer.  The glow truly starts with the skin and shines through.

For the natural flush

Lumene Invisible Illumination

Coming soon to drugstores

This collection contains a regular luminizer, which you use on top of makeup as well as a watercolor bronzer and blush, which I just love.  I simply dot it onto the apples of my cheeks and blend for a healthy flush.
