National Lash Day with NBC
In case you didn't see it all over social media already, today's #NationalLashDay! I had the opportunity to showcase my favorite lash boosting products on NBC's New York Live with Sara Gore (a self proclaimed lash-a-holic). Check out the segment!
Drugstore Beauty Loot That I Actually Buy
One of the many perks of being a beauty writer is getting sent free products from every brand before they even hit store shelves to test out and potentially review. As you can imagine, my beauty closet looks like a Sephora meets CVS. When I fall in love with a product and begin using it consistently, occasionally I'll call in favors to my PR friends for refills, but most of the time I actually buy it. Here's what I've been getting at the drugstore, because they're worth it.

Why No One's At NYFW This Season
Thanks for the invite, but I'm not covering backstage this season. After over ten years of attending and covering backstage NYFW, that's been my response to the countless amounts of emails that have been pouring in over the past few weeks from beauty publicists. An honor to be invited, but just not worth it this time around.

Beauty Trend: Flushed Cheeks
Winter-kissed pink cheeks are all the rage this season. You can use cream or powder blush to create a natural just-went-skiing look. If you want effortless blending and distinct, pigmented color, try a cream blush, like Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush. Powder blush, like Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in Rosy Pop, will give you more of a sheer application that has a lighter texture. Just apply to the apples of your cheeks, and you'll be ready to brace the cold!
