Chips and salsa. Lennon and McCarthy. Orange juice and champagne. Some things are just made to be together, like these designer beauty collaborations. From Jergens to Tangle Tweezer, here are our favorite beauty collabs of the moment.  And yes, there's one for every personality.

THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

NARS x Christopher Kane Neoneutral

$25 to $39, NARS.com

Did you fearlessly jump on board the rainbow hair trend? Are you obsessed with wearing neon colors—all of them—at the same time? Well we have good news for you: famously audacious British designer Christopher Kane teamed up with NARS to release a beauty line inspired by the makeup from his latest runway show. We love how this collection of products for lips, eyes, and cheeks dares you to stand out. You won’t be able to help but release your inner runway model while wearing the Glow Pink Lip Gloss ($26, NARS). This long-lasting, bold magenta works best on a girls’ night out, so if you’re looking for something more office-friendly, the Nucleus Lip Gloss ($26, NARS) packs a softer, appropriately seashell pink punch.

THE FESTIVAL JUNKIE

DJ Mia Moretti x MAC

Photo: Mac.com

$16-$50, MAC.com

DJ Mia Moretti debuted this collection at Coachella, and given MAC’s tendency to collab with fashion-forward musicians like Rihanna, Lorde, and Nicki Minaj, this partnership seems fairly obvious. Featuring festival-inspired products, this line is the definition of summer—everything is cream-based and lightweight, and we can imagine it holding up during a long day running from one music tent to another. But the real standout in this collection is the cosmetic bag, which features an adorably basket weave design with red piping ($46, MAC). If you’re searching for a chic and convenient way to store your summer beauty essentials, Mia Moretti has it.

THE WILD CHILD

Mara Hoffman x TIGI Bed Head

$16.50, salons

Remember the good old days, when you were thirteen and nothing seemed more chic than TIGI Bed Head products, with their pop punk branding and promise of edgy curls? TIGI found its couture counterpart in bohemian designer Mara Hoffman with last year’s Catwalk collaboration, and luckily for anyone who missed it, the beauty dream team is back for round two this summer. Here's all you have to do to score a free Mara Hoffman sarong and beach bag: walk in to your neighborhood salon from Memorial Day through Labor Day and purchase a product from TIGI's Beach Collection. Given that a vinyl beach bag from Hoffman's current collection costs $168, this is a deal you totally cannot miss. Our personal favorite is the Beach Bound Protection Spray for Colored Hair ($16.50), which keeps hair safe from humidity, frizz, and UV rays.

THE FLEA MARKET AFICIONADO

Smashbox x Donald Robertson

$150, Sephora.com

Do you love spending lazy Sundays exploring your local flea for vintage finds?  Well then we've found a contemporary collaboration for all you old souls out there: the Smashbox x Donald Robertson lipstick collection. Robertson, the Instagram artist and Head of Creative Development at Bobbi Brown drew the illustrations on the sleeve of each lip cover, and his pop art sensibilities harken back to the Swinging ‘60s. This boldly colored collection is right on trend with the pop of color we’ve seen on celebrities recently. You can purchase a bundle that includes this lipstick collection plus four liquid eyeliners and an exclusive tote bag designed by Robertson ($150, Sephora.com). Our favorite of this collection is the Femme Fatale Matte, a deeply rich plum shade reminiscent of 1940s screen sirens.

$24, ASOS.com

Delightfully posh and charming British accessories designer Lulu Guinness creates adorable handbags that can retail for up to $700. Not ready to make that kind of commitment to Ms. Guinness yet? Don’t despair—for a much more affordable $24, you can get the limited edition Lulu Guinness and Tangle Teezer Detangling Brush (ASOS.com). This super-compact brush will easily fit in your bag, and features a removable cover designed by Lulu Guinness. We find it’s most useful for detangling wet hair after showering, and its teeth get the job done without pulling on my hair. You’ll love having this whimsical and charmingly British accessory by your side, and as a brush it stands out among this summer’s sea of makeup products.
