It's insane how many packages of new beauty products I get each week to test for potential review. This week, I had time to actually sit down and go through them carefully, reading the press materials, swiping and playing with all of the colors and textures. I focused on makeup since I've been covering a lot of skincare lately and these are the standouts.
Lancome Grandiose Liner
*Launching this summer
This new liquid liner grabbed my attention immediately when I first saw it at Lancome's summer product launch event. The liner (available in three shades, but I love how dark the Carbon Black is) goes on smoothly thanks to the flexible, yet controlled tip and dries matte. The coolest part about it though is the innovative packaging. The brush clicks right and left to angle at 35 degrees in order to make sure you get every nook and cranny.
Laura Mercier Flawless Icons Eye & Cheek Palette
$55 at Nordstrom
Have you ever opened a palette and thought - "This was made for me!" That's how I felt when I first saw this gorgeous array of shades. The lavender and plum shadows are complimented by bronze and espresso shades. The palette includes eight shadow shades in total along with a highlighter and bronzer and is part of Nordstrom's anniversary sale retailing at a fraction of the cost.
NARS Do Not Disturb Lip Gloss
$28 at Barneys
This is the perfect hybrid between a gloss and a lipstick. If you're looking for a moisturizing consistency that's super pigmented and offers opaque coverage, this is the right lip product for you. The reddish orange shade has warm undertones and lasts through several glasses of rosé.
