1. Food, Inc (2008)

Food, Inc examines how large corporations have taken over all aspects of the food chain in the United States, from the farms where our food is grown to the chain restaurants where it's sold. Beware: this film takes you into the unsettling depths of animal processing plants. This terrifying and fascinating film is a must-see if you are interested in learning the shocking truths about what we eat.

2. Forks Over Knives (2011)

This documentary explores the possibility that people changing their diets from animal-based to plant-based as well as eliminating processed foods can help eliminate or control diseases such as cancer and diabetes. This film follows respected researchers Dr. Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn as they conduct groundbreaking studies to prove this theory.
