You know I love a good cat story. Recently, a Facebook fan wrote to me about a kitty hero, so of course I had to share. Hope you find this one as heart warming as I did – and remember as we enter the winter months to help homeless animals and people when and where you can.
“There is a young stray kitty by the boardwalk in Edgewater. He looks filthy and cold. I saw that someone brought a cardboard box and a water dish. I thought this was so kind and took a picture of the kitty looking warm and fussy in his bed. ”
This story reminded me to share the story about my dad, who's perhaps the most compassionate person I know. Behind his shop in NJ, he noticed a litter of stray kittens, left work and went to the pet store to buy them food. When he came back, he built them a little fort and has been feeding them ever since. Seriously heart warming.
