Golden Globes 2011 Hits and Misses

So immediately after the Jets beat the Patriots I tuned into the Golden Globes red carpet to check out who got it right and who was about to be humiliated by the press until they had a chance to redeem themselves at the Oscars. Here's my list of hits and misses from the 2011 Golden Globes: Anne Hathaway's body blew me away.  It wasn't just that I thought she was one of the best dressed on the carpet in her beaded blush colored Armani Prive gown, but the fact that she absolutely couldn't have pulled it off if she wasn't in tip top shape.  Not many people can, not even in Hollywood.

Starlettes such as Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Moss and Catherine Zeta Jones all donned green gowns.  I'm assuming it's because they're all NY Jet's fans and absolutely hate the New England Patriots as much as I do so despite the fact that they couldn't watch the game due to prior commitments, they wanted to show their support.  Whether it was that or just a huge trend, it's a big hit on my list.

Two horrific misses?  One, January Jones looked hot yes, but completely inappropriate for the Globes.  Yes, she may have a very toned, shapely body to show off, but cut outs around her breasts at the Globes?  Not OK in my book.  And I can't even begin to rant about Jennifer Love Hewitt.  The poor girl was lost again.  Does she even have a stylist?  If not, she should get one... quick.  And if she does, it's time to cut ties. She looked like a lost bride.

Women are Sexiest at Age 31

Confidence is sexy.  There’s no denying that, but research has proven that the confidence level of women at different ages can make or break their attractiveness. According to a study, women are most attractive at 31 years-old.  Why?  Because once they get just past the big 3-0, women mature more, rid their insecurities, are well established, still youthful and more confident than ever.  Ever hear of being grown and sexy?  A-listers like Claire Danes, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Kate Hudson prove the study to be true.

With cougars being the term used to describe women 40+ who showcase sexiness and confidence, of course researchers have named the 31-year old set: puma is the term they use.  Pumas  take good care of themselves physically and mentally whether in a relationship or not.  In a survey of 2,000 men and women, 70 percent agreed that confidence was the key factor of attractiveness followed by physical beauty and sense of style.

I'm not a puma yet, but at least I know I have something to look forward to!  What do you think?  Do you agree?
