Get Christina Hendrix's Bling for Less... Stress

I once went to a gifting lounge in LA during the Emmys and was amazed by a jeweler who was showcasing tons of the jewels that the A-listers were going to wear on the red carpet the next day.  Because they were worth millions of dollars, they seriously had body guards following them down the carpet.  Can you imagine? You can rock Golden Globes inspired jewels without the baggage!  Get this:

Christina Hendrix wore a $850K, 124 carat diamond bracelet that was loaned to her by Chopard, a Swiss jewelry company to compliment her red, one shouldered Romona Keveza gown.  Unfortunately for her, she lost it!  An event worker found it and returned it, which was unbelievable.

You can rock her look with out the stress with this Foil-Crystal Stretch Bracelet, $48 from the White House/Black Market.

I think she wore it well on the sleeveless arm of her dress, but you don't even have to get all glammed up to don it.  And if for some reason you do lose it, it's nothing to fret over!

Golden Globes: How To Get Lea Michele's Soft Chignon

Lea Michele opted for an ultra-feminine ruffled, one-shoulder Oscar de la Renta pale, pink gown last night at the Golden Globes and her loose chignon complimented the gown perfectly.  Stylist to the stars, Mark Townsend was able to take all of the credit. Lea arrived that morning with freshly washed hair and Townsend by applying Dove Nourishing Oil Care Serum to her wet hair to smooth any frizz and add shine.  After raking Dove Curl & Sculpt Defining Mousse through her damp hair he blow dried it in two inch sections with a round brush to create texture and volume. Once dry, he pulled the sides back into a low, messy bun at the nape of her neck and secured it with bobby pins.

As a finishing touch, Townsend carefully pulled some face framing pieces out and spritzed Dove Unscented Extra Hold Hairspray with Natural Movement.  "It gives it hold without looking frozen in time. It’s a soft, “up-ish” do that looks like it could fall down at any moment, but really it’s not going anywhere,” he commented.

Get Sofia Vergara's Golden Globes Makeup Look

Before she opens her mouth I think Sofia Vergara is one of the most beautiful women, then when she speaks, she's totally girl crush worthy.  For this years Golden Globes, the Modern Family star rocked a fuchsia Vera Wang and had her makeup done by Kayleen McAdams and opted to concentrate on her eyes. To get the look, fill in your brows with Lancome Le Crayon Poudre in Brunet, and use Artliner in Aubergine, layer Definicils High Definition and Hypnose Custom Mascaras.  McAdams also used a new eyeshadow palette on Vergara that's not out until February called Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Coral Crush.

Her fresh face had a hint of Lancome Blush Subtil in rose Fresque and L'Absolu Nu in Sheer Mousse was on her poute, that color doesn't come out until March, but hey, something to look forward to!

Golden Globes 2011 Hits and Misses

So immediately after the Jets beat the Patriots I tuned into the Golden Globes red carpet to check out who got it right and who was about to be humiliated by the press until they had a chance to redeem themselves at the Oscars. Here's my list of hits and misses from the 2011 Golden Globes: Anne Hathaway's body blew me away.  It wasn't just that I thought she was one of the best dressed on the carpet in her beaded blush colored Armani Prive gown, but the fact that she absolutely couldn't have pulled it off if she wasn't in tip top shape.  Not many people can, not even in Hollywood.

Starlettes such as Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Moss and Catherine Zeta Jones all donned green gowns.  I'm assuming it's because they're all NY Jet's fans and absolutely hate the New England Patriots as much as I do so despite the fact that they couldn't watch the game due to prior commitments, they wanted to show their support.  Whether it was that or just a huge trend, it's a big hit on my list.

Two horrific misses?  One, January Jones looked hot yes, but completely inappropriate for the Globes.  Yes, she may have a very toned, shapely body to show off, but cut outs around her breasts at the Globes?  Not OK in my book.  And I can't even begin to rant about Jennifer Love Hewitt.  The poor girl was lost again.  Does she even have a stylist?  If not, she should get one... quick.  And if she does, it's time to cut ties. She looked like a lost bride.
