In need of a re-energizing, midday snack or a morning pick me up? You're going to want to try these bite sized protein balls. Delicious, healthy and great for on-the-go!
Ingredients:
185 grams of dried, pitted dates.
2 tablespoons of sesame seeds.
25 grams of pistachios.
2 tablespoons of agave syrup.
1/3 cup of lemon juice.
30 grams of gluten free oats.
2 teaspoons of organic sunflower protein powder.
How To:
Preheat your oven to 350 Degrees.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and evenly spread out the oats. Place in the oven on the middle tray for about 5-7 minutes or until oats become golden brown.
Start to chop the dates until they become a paste like consistency, as well as the pistachios.
Mix together the chopped dates with the agave syrup, seeds, pistachios and protein powder.
Stir in the toasted oats and the fresh lemon juice.
Roll the mixture together into balls and store in the refrigerator in an air tight container.
