Must Have: Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion

the one product that saved my skin during Sundance

If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw that Joe and I went to Sundance opening weekend and took full advantage of all Park City, UT has to offer.  Besides attending film premieres and practicing yoga (of course), we had a blast in the snow.  With temperatures in the 20's and 30's layering up properly was crucial – starting with my moisturizer.

While I'm not a fan of winter in NYC (I should really live in LA), there's something magical about the snow when you're away.  If I'm heading to a cold weather destination for some fun, I'm much more apt to embrace it.  My favorite Sundance activity this year by far was snowmobiling.  We went on a two hour snowmobiling tour through the canyons with Thousand Peaks.  It was invigorating to speed through the trails in the fresh, cold air surrounded by pine trees and several feet of snow.  I couldn't believe my eyes when we saw a moose walking up a hill.  It was surreal.  I felt like I was on another planet.

We brought an extra carry-on suitcase just for all of our hats, scarves, gloves, boots, etc., but the most important layer we brought was packed in my toiletry bag – Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair. You guys know I'm nuts about skincare and am particularly obsessed with moisturizer. Cold weather can really take a toll on your skin by stripping moisture leading to dry, cracked hands, feet and lips.

Since I use Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant lotion regularly at home after getting out of the shower and wanted to make sure that my skincare regimen didn't slack while away, I stepped it up with Advanced Repair for this trip.  (Never trust moisturizers provided by hotels.  They're always disappointing!) . The Intensive Care Advanced Repair lotion contains moisturizers along with Vaseline Jelly and really absorb into my skin instead of sitting on top of it.  It's the strongest one out of the range and made checking a suitcase worth it!
