Must Have: Nuvesse Firming & Anti-Aging Face Masks

As a beauty reporter for ten plus years, one of my absolute favorite parts of the job is learning about new technology in skincare, something that never seems to get old.

Recently, I was introduced to Nuvesse, a brand consisting of serum-infused face masks and serum rollers that first gained their popularity in the aesthetic medical field.  Nuvesse initially began as a company that created custom wound-dressings for medical use with technology that helped to heal wounds.  Therefore, it only made sense for them to bring the same technology and delivery system to skincare for us all to benefit from.  Enter the Nuvesse Firming & Anti-Aging Face Mask.

Unlike other sheet masks, the technology behind the Nuvesse masks is the same patented delivery system doctors fell in love with when treating their wound patients called Cellulation™ Technology.  Stay with me here, it's super impressive. Cellulation uses hydration to help separate the layers of your skin in order to ensure that the key ingredients held within the serum-infused biocellulous mask penetrates into the deeper layers instead of just sitting on top.

When I first tried the Nuvesse Firming & Anti-Aging Face Mask, I was actually shocked by the fact that after use there wasn't any residue sitting on top of my skin.  If you've ever tried a sheet mask in the past (and I know you have), then you know that the instructions are to tap any excess formula into your skin after use.  There was no excess formula, which leads me to believe in the technology.  Being that the serum penetrates that deeply into my skin, I'm expecting serious results.

The instructions are to use the mask once per week for 20 minutes at a time.  In that time, an ounce of serum is delivered into your skin, which is a lot.  Some of the active ingredients are hyaluronic acid, Vitamins A and C and copper peptides, which help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  I'll be using the Nuvesse Firming & Anti-Aging Mask weekly for a month to truly put them to the test (it comes in a pack of four).  And yes, of course, I'll share my skincare results after the last use in February.
