In the beginning of the month I traveled to Houston to film a few TV segments. This one on Great Day Houston recently aired in time for Earth Day and I have another one that will be airing in June on another network. Check it out:

Behind the Scenes of My Elizabeth Arden Shoot... So SJP
This past week has been super fun! I shot a campaign for Elizabeth Arden that's going to be on BetterTV, online and in print similar to the Strivectin campaign I shot last fall. Acting as a Spokesperson and being in front of a camera is my true passion so I was completely in my element.
Thursday we shot in an office setting and in a gorgeous house in New Jersey and Friday we shot at the Elizabeth Arden store on 5th Ave and out and about in NYC. My Friday scenes were my favorite because they truly portrayed 'a day in the life.' Only for this day, I had a stylist and glam squad on hand.
I was the "girl on the go" and we filmed in and out of taxi cabs, subways and walking around the Plaza Hotel by the fountain. I felt very Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City! I can't wait to show you the video when it's out!
Now, they're taking a day and a half of footage and creating a three minute piece. It's expected to be launched late April/early May.
My Interview with Access Hollywood
Hey BeautySweetSpot readers! I am beyond excited today because I was interviewed by Access Hollywood about the coral trend and the article is live! I gave suggestions on how to wear the trends and great beauty and fashion pics at affordable prices. Check it out!
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
One of the big colors I am seeing this Spring is coral… it seems like everywhere I turn, there it is!
As much as I love the color, I never thought I could wear it. But there are plenty of ways to get in on this fresh and fun color trend according to beauty expert and blogger Jeannine Morris.
“I like it because it’s very wearable and people can embrace it as much or as little as they want by adding a slight pop of color to their nails or rocking a bright orange trench,” Jeannine says. “It depends on how much they want to be noticed.”
Jessica Biel, Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoe Saldana, Diane Kruger and January Jones are just a few stars who have already been embracing the trend and Jeannine shares some tips of how you can too.
CORAL MAKEUP Whether you believe it or not, coral lips work on everyone – yes, on all skin tones. It’s all about finding the right texture and pigment that works for you. If you have a lighter skin tone, opt for more of a pinky based orange and if you have a darker skin tone go with a deeper reddish orange. As for texture, if you’re a gloss girl, use a pigmented gloss so you’re comfortable pulling off the look. Try LipFusion Micro-Injected Collagen Lip Plump in Boca Babe or jane iredale Lip Fixation in Devotion. If you’re looking for a creamier consistency wear a lipstick like Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color SPF 12 in Soft Coral. To finish the look, try philosophy’s The Supernatural Lit from Within Cream Blush in Feel Warm All Over and concentrate the color on the apples of your cheeks.
CORAL NAILS This is perhaps the easiest way to pull off the trend because you can rock it on your hands or your feet. Two of my favorite coral polishes right now are Creative Nail Design in Smoochie and Sula Paint & Peel Polish in Champagne Coral.
CORAL CLOTHING Miranda Kerr, Whitney Port and Rachel Bilson were all recently spotted wearing coral blazers. This looks best as a day look and can easily be paired with jeans, a white tee and nude pumps. H&M has a super chic and affordable one.
CORAL ACCESSORIES Spice up your outfit with a coral bag, jewelry or even stockings. I’m huge on accessories and feel they add so much personality to my outfits. Blake Lively wore coral stockings on the set of “Gossip Girl” with a black dress and I loved the look! You can get the same look with DKNY 412 Opaque Coverage Control Top Tights in Rouge. Too outrageous for you? Check out Silhouette’s SPX Art Eyeglasses for a subtler look.

Live from...
After three weeks of traveling to ten cities to do sponsored TV segments, I'm back in NYC! Everyday was like ground hog day (ever see that movie?), but I loved every second of it. Check out the clip below to get a feel for what I did every morning:
Emmy Beauty Predictions
This time last year I was in LA getting ready to do a beauty segment for E! on secrets of the stars beauty habits on the red carpet during the Emmys. The experience was incredible! I was with E!'s own Ashlan Gorse and chatted it up for the rest of the day with people like Padma Lakshmi, Blake Lively, Drew Barrymore and the cast of Mad Men.
This year, I cannot wait to watch the Emmys and have some beauty predictions of what type of makeup looks the nominees will be sporting from Physician's Formula Celebrity Makeup Artist, Joanna Schlip.
"At this year's Emmy's we'll be seeing two very distinct looks," remarked Joanna. "I'm betting on retro glam and and feminine using monochromic, knock-out neutrals."
Last year, Leighton Meester sported the rocked glam look in a chic white dress perfectly. It's all about flawless skin, defined brows and a sharp red lip. Joanna also thinks the cat eye will be a huge focal point, but this time, more exaggerated.
Will you be tuning into the Emmys this year? Who are you excited to see on the red carpet?
Shape Magazine Features Yours Truly
If you haven't done so already pick up the July issue of Shape magazine with Jewel and her sexy bod on the cover. I'm so honored to be featured as a beauty expert throughout a ten page Walgreens ad!
The ad features three experts: a nutritionist, personal trainer and yours truly. I discuss skin care tips for your 20's, 30's and 40's. Besides checking out my ad, the issue is loaded with great health and fitness tips and I especially loved a page of Beauty Finds dedicated to sea-inspired buys.
Meet Me & RapidLash this Friday
I have really exciting news! For all of my New York City readers, this Friday I will be making an appearance at Duane Reade on 35th and Broadway as a spokesperson for RapidLash. From 1pm until 7pm I will be there on behalf of the brand handing out promotional materials and free products.
RapidLash, for those of you who aren't familiar, is a lash and brow enhancement serum that I began using over a year ago. Yes, my lashes grew longer, but what amazed me the most was the way it helped me grow in my over-threaded brow. My right brow was slightly thinner than the left. Within three weeks of using RapidLash there was a significant difference. I've been using the product every night before bed since.
Therefore, I'm honored to represent the brand this Friday and hope you'll stop by to find out what all the buzz is about. Plus, I'd love to meet my readers in person!
My NBC "The 10! Show" Segment
Yesterday I had the chance to go to Philly to do a segment on NBC's "The 10! Show" called "Best Beauty Secrets for A New You." I love doing segments on "The 10! Show" because the host, Lori is wonderful to work with and they're the only show that I've been on so far that touches up my makeup!
I featured Skintimate Signature Scents Moisturizing Shave Gels, Dickenson's Witch Hazel Astringent Towelettes, Bio Oil, RapidLash, Wet n' Wild and Shaklee Energy Chews. Check out why each product is a great addition to your regimen in 2010 by watching the segment below!
