First prep your coif with mousse and blow dry. Then, pull your strands straight up into a high ponytail at the top of your crown using your fingers. This will give more of a loose, messy effect. Twist the ponytail and wrap it around the elastic securing with bobby pins as you go. Create extra looseness by pinching out pieces of the tucked bun. Finish with a matte hair spray.
