This year I had the honor of attending Sundance with Got2B and can sum up our trip with one word: exhilarating. We stayed at the Grand Summit Hotel at Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah and each activity on our itinerary topped the last. If I wasn't dying laughing or screaming on one adventure (snowmobiling or being transported to our hotel in a cabriolet... don't ask) I was partying like a rock star with the beauty girls.
Within an hour of arriving at the hotel the CMM PR girls, Got2B team and my fellow beauty girls were taking a funicular 9,000 feet up a mountain to an Extra party in the middle of nowhere. Michael Cera, Mario Lopez and Ben from "The Bachelor" were there and we got acquainted as OAR preformed Jessie Mraz jumped on stage for an impromptu. Of course, I needed to talk to Ben and asked him if he ended up with a crazy girl. His response, "Let's just say I'm drinking a lot of Chardonnay."
Saturday started with snowmobiling. Nervous at first, we all dressed in ridiculous snow suits, helmets and goggles and then, we owned the mountains. I'm so glad we went because it's not something I would have ever signed myself up for and I loved it! That afternoon we stopped by the Miami Oasis VIP Suite on Main St. where Got2B's Celeb Stylist, Larry Sims (who I'm obsessed with as he used to be a backup dancer for Missy Elliot) was styling some A-Listers. Maria Menounos was there while we were, but my fave sighting that afternoon was Cheryl Hines. That night we attended a dinner at the St. Regis for the launch of Got2B's new product (you'll hear about it soon) and then thought we were 21 again when we danced to DJ Kaskade at TAO. Funnest. Night. Ever!
Sunday funday was taken to new heights (literally) in Utah. The owners of Ainsworth and The Hill here in NYC threw a party for the football games at The Sky Lodge Hotel with a DJ and outdoor rooftop area with fire pits. That night we hopped on a sleigh ride (picture Santa's sleigh being pulled by a tractor) and went up a about 10,000 feet to a yurt! A yurt, where we ate an incredible meal, (they even had something delish and vegetarian prepped for me) and rode back down in the sleigh. You have to ready my friend Amber's post, because she captured the funniest moments of the trip and I can't stop laughing. As for movies... maybe next year.
