New Year, New Attitude

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to take vitamins.  While I claim to live a healthy lifestyle, I never take the vitamins or supplements I need as a (selective) vegan.  For most though, losing those extra 10 pounds or actually working out often tops the list. How about starting with getting your mind right?  Make a resolution to see things in a different light and like The Secret promises, a better body will come with a change of attitude.

Special K conducted a recent survey that uncovered 62% of women feel compelled to engage in 'Fat Talk' about themselves when they hear other women doing so – and 63% said they don’t try to stop or change the conversation.  Change the conversation! Guilty of it myself, obvi, we all have flaws.  Everyone has parts of their body that they'd like to be thinner, more toned or who knows, gone all together (love handles). However, talking about it isn't going to help the situation.

In the New Year, or how about now, try to practice The Secret.  A new outlook will empower you to reach your goals.  Join Special K and their Spokeswomen, Tyra Banks, in their campaign to #FightFatTalk.
