Playing Jewelry Designer with FIT

Back in December I partnered with a jewelry design student from the Fashion Institute of Technology to create a bangle together out of palladium.   Here's the post in case you don't remember.  Well, to be honest, since she was the talented aspiring designer she did all of the work and used my inspiration. After five months of meetings and hard work I received my bangle and feel it captures everything we spoke about. Since one of the key inspirations to my style is New York City and everything it has to offer – the different cultures, architecture and energy to name a few – I chose Washington Square Park as my key sole of inspiration for the piece. I love how it’s one place that captures it all.

My jewelry boxes and dishes that sit displayed on my bookshelf are full of pieces, but only a select few have meaning, which I believe are the best ones.
