Marie Bonita Salon

Winter Indulgence: Hot Chocolate Pedi

Last weekend I found myself in freezing in Soho, and was lured into the Maria Bonita Salon and Spa when I saw they had a Hot Chocolate Pedicure.  It was a much better option than trying to warm up inside a coffee shop for a little bit!

As soon as I sat down I was served a huge, rich cup of hot cocoa with whipped cream and M&M's that said "Maria Bonita" around the dish. (Pictured above).

Chocolate was the theme of the hour.  I was even tempted to get Essie's Chocolate Kisses nail polish because I was in the mood, but stuck with my usual, Wicked.  First, my feet were soaked in cocoa, almond oils and dead sea salt for a while, which was nice because they really needed to defrost.  The scrub was made with a combination of chocolate and almond and massage lasted about ten minutes and included the scent of chocolate as well.

If you're a NYC chocolate lover, this was well worth the treat.  It was about an hour long and costs $39.
