Makeup Artist Tips for Wearing Color on Your Lids

If you tell me that this behind the scenes photo of Entertainment Tonight host, Rocsi Diaz doesn't make you want to start embracing purple shadow, then I'm at a loss.  A bit deeper than Spring's hottest hue, Radiant Orchid, Diaz's makeup artist, Jamie Greenberg, gave me the rundown on how to to wear the shade on your lids even if you're a bit skeptical of wearing  intense pigments.

"When it comes to a shade like Radiant Orchid it's all about gradiation," says Greenberg. "If you're nervous about color then use a light touch so it's a lesser version of the actual color. Or, start experimenting by only using Radiant Orchid as eyeliner, for a nice safe accent. If you're feeling bold then start to layer more on! The great thing about one bold color is that you can wear it many different ways."

FYI: To get Diaz's exact color, use mark’s I-mark’s Wet/Dry Eyeshadow in Truffle along the lid and Lava in the crease of the eye.
