A brand new innovation in skin care caught my attention this week: SunSoul, an active wear line that contains a UPF of 50. The florescent polymer fibers are woven together to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays while exercising outdoors.
As compared to LED light, the shirts come in florescent yellow and blue, each also treating the skin in different ways. Like red infared light, the yellow SunSoul shirt helps with skin rejuvenation by allowing delivery of the sun's healthy rays to the skin. The blue, helps clear acne on the chest and back.
"The florescent technology changes the way the light is focused as it comes through the other side of the fabric, allowing for only the non-harmful rays to come through," states dermatologist, Dr. Brightman.
Clinical studies have proven that acne and age spots have improved within four to six weeks of regularly wearing the workout gear outside. Even though the shirts protect you from the UVA and UVB rays, be sure to cover any exposed areas with an SPF of 15 or higher.
