Last Saturday was our engagement party. In words, I can describe my look for the celebration, the decor and how excited Joe and I were to officially toast with our family and dearest friends, but what I can't even begin to try to describe in words is true, honest, can't-live-without-you love. Therefore, I'll tell you a bit about how I found the perfect dress and leave the rest to pictures, because this is what love looks like.
After searching for a romantic ivory dress, I decided to skip the idea all together and opted for a pastel watercolor Alice & Olivia chiffon number until two days before my party. My best friend and I went to a sale and I spotted a vintage Valentino in my measurements (it was too good to be true) and paired it with my trusty YSL Tributes. On my nails, I wore Soul Mate by Essie, fitting for the occasion and after a blow out freak out, (let's just say I looked like Shirley Temple leaving the salon), I ended up doing my own hair and getting ready in a half hour. Thank God for my spray tan.
