Holiday Gift Idea & Giveaway: Flirt! Limited Edition Eyeshadow Set

Happy Monday!  To start the week off with another fabulous giveaway I’d like to reintroduce you to one of my fave makeup brands Flirt!  You know why I like it –the name says a lot, but this holiday season they came out with one of the most fab palettes I’ve ever seen – the Flirt! Limited Edition Eyeshadow Set, $29.99. It has 40 shades!

I experimented with it and made so many different color combos.  I don’t know any woman who wouldn’t enjoy playing with this.  I’d consider it a must-have palette for anyone who loves wearing different looks.  It has a combination of matte and shimmery shadows.

Want one? Of course you do!  Happy Holidays from BeautySweetSpot!  I’m giving one away to a lucky reader.  Comment below and fill me in on a great eye makeup tip.

A winner will be chosen at random on December 20th (a bit longer).  Good luck!

Use eye primer! It really makes a big difference in making your eyeshadow last and look stunning!

  2. momsthoughts says:

This looks GREAT! I would agree – primer is essential. use powder to set concealer

  3. Halifax says:

I’d suggest a good blending brush, so colours are blending well together, avoid harsh lines

  4. Lisa Carr says:

Remove mascara oops with a little vaseline. lisacarr7 ataol dot com

  5. Marissa Green says:

Using blush as an eyeshadow is a secret tip I was taught when I first started wearing make-up! It can give you a great matte look with color.

  6. nicci cowdell-murray says:

i could really do with some new make up this looks fantastic x

  7. nicci cowdell-murray says:

my tip is i always use tissue under my eye while applying then you dont get eye shadow on your cheek ! xx

  8. debralu says:

Some of the best eye make-up brushes can be found at the art supply store. Look for natural bristles in the desired shape. I use a rounded oval brush (not flat) to apply shadow in the crease of my eye lids & under my lower lashes.

  9. Jessica Bushee says:

I go for the smokey eye quite a bit and usually blend my colors together at the seams so they look even more dramatic. I also like the idea of good blending brushes!

  10. Stefanie says:

I recently discovered the power of primer & the right brush.

  11. Melissa Kelley says:

PRIMER!!! Definately a must have before applying eyeshadow.

  12. Alexandra says:

Gel Eyeliner is great. It goes on smooth and stays on forever!

  13. Elaine Kontra says:

I use my tinted moisturizer on my eyelid before I apply eyeshadow.

  14. Sarah says:

Try putting a little gold or cream shimmer shadow on the inside corner of your eyes, it will really make your eyes pop!

  15. Maria says:

Definitely use a primer to make those eyeshadows last throughout the day without creasing or smudging. I seriously don’t know how I went all those years without using primer! Wow. Never again will I go without it. Not only does it make the makeup last, but it also makes the colors POP more and stay vibrant longer. In the end, you don’t need to pack on as much shadow just to get the same effect.

Lastly, If it’s hot/humid outside or if your eyes tend to be oily, use a waterproof eyeliner to line your lids.

♥ ♥ Thanks for the chance!

  16. Paige M. says:

I would love to play around with all the gorgeous shades, creating different looks!
My eye makeup tip is to heat your eyelash curler with several blasts
of hot air from your blow dryer. You’ll have extra curly lashes!

  17. Eve says:

Always use a primer. Also an ear swan is great for helping wipe away eyeshadow, when you feel you have too much.

  18. To really make your eyes “pop”, apply eye liner along the length of your upper lid, just above your lash line. Then repeat just beneath the lash line on your lower lid, meeting the upper line at the outer corners of your eyes. If you use a liner pencil, you may want to use your finger to gently smudge the liner for a smokier look.

  19. amy dendy says:

I use concealer on eyelid when out of primer to have the perfect canvas for creative expression

  20. Martha Price says:

I always dab white eye shadow in the inner corner of my eye…it makes your eyes look more awake and bright!

  21. Audrey says:

To brighten up your eyes when looking tired, apply a white eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes, or line your waterline with a white eyeliner pencil, if you think the white will look to harsh or bright, an off white or almost a peach color on the waterline will also really brighten up the eyes and make them appear bigger.

  22. Shannon says:

My tip is less is more…don’t waer so much eye liner, mascara, eye shadow that it looks like you painted it on…you can enhance your eyes by not wearing that much!

  23. Holly J says:

for eyeliner, start with the middle and making the line thicker as you go out and then go back to do the thin line in the inner corner.

  24. Jennifer says:

My eye makeup tip is to do your eye makeup first! If your eye makeup is done first you can simply sweep away any fallout under your eye! However, if you have already applied concealer near that area it is going to be much harder to remove the fallout and not ruin your concealer at the same time.

my tip is to try blending colors together to create different looks.
    this pallette is awesome!
    thanks for the giveaway.

  27. clara says:

I would say using scotch tape to give that defined eye shadow look. It would create a sharper bolder look.

  28. Amanda says:

Hmm one eye makeup tip…for an easy SMOKEY eye (even can be done in a bathroom with fingers!!), just line your eyes upper and lower with a pencil (kohl works best…something soft) and smudge with your pinky finger, then reline them again for a pretty soft yet defined smokey look! Perfect for those quick last-minute holiday parties!! Can be done with any color pencil, brown, black, navy…all would work for a soft smokey look!

  29. Mom of 3 girly girls says:

using a clear mascara on eyebrows is a great way to get them to stay in place all day!

  30. Harriet says:

If I use a deeper medium tone eyeshadow on my lid, I always put a much lighter shade, rubbed in, on the center of the lid to open up the eye.

  31. Jeannine says:

I use pointed q tips to perfectly shape my liquid eyeliner. This helps me so much cause those little wands give me so much trouble. And reg q tips make a mess and i have to start all over.

also wetting my eye lids before applying eye shadow makes it stay on longer and brighter.
