New Ice Cream Study Is Making Me Enjoy Mint Chip in A New Way and You May Thank Me

One of my guiltiest pleasures is ice cream.  Are you with me?  I have to have it several times a week (having a BF who loves it just as much doesn’t help either).  Gross? Probably, but I work it off!  My ice cream addiction now makes sense thanks to a recent study that compares your brain on ice cream to your brain on drugs.  I’m not kidding.  From now on I’m going to “Just Say No” to another scoop and found a new solution… check out the video below.  It just may help you too!

My FOX News Interview About Safe Sun & Tanorexia

A few weeks ago I was interviewed by FOX News about practicing safe sun and my former tanorexic days.  They highlight BeautySweetSpot.com very nicely (thank you FOX)!  The segment just aired last week and it’s awesome!  There’s a guy from Beach Bum Tanning Salon who sounds like a complete fool!  Check it out:

The Best Ways To Bronze on NBC New York Live

Yesterday I showed Sara and Jacque on New York Live my favorite ways to bronze and had a blast.  It was kind of like my beauty awards for the tanning category on air.  What could be better?  Check out the segment below!

Intern Review: Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Face Wash, Something She’d Splurge On with A College Budget

I was always weary of changing my daily face wash routine. As a teenager, I unfortunately suffered from acne. It is an embarrassing stage of my gawky years I would not like to repeat. Therefore, when my dermatologists put me on a regimen that finally worked junior year of high school, I never drifted away from it.  Now that I’ll be a junior in college, I’m experimenting again and when I saw the big Philosophy face wash in a goody bag I received a few weeks ago from a Nordstrom anniversary sale beauty event, I couldn’t wait to try it and let me tell you, I’m glad I did!

Hollywood’s Top & Most Bizarre Beauty Treatments Make Reality Stars Look Good

After watching The Bachelorette season finale this weekend and then Bachelor Pad last night (don’t judge me) it made me begin to think about all of the pressure people are under to look good on TV.  Take Emily, hair extensions?  Check.  Boobs?  Check.  Veneers?  Check.  A nose job?  Yes, even that.  The poor girl did almost a 180 between seasons.  Some of the former contestants who showed up on Bachelor Pad def had a few tweaks as well.  Me?  I own up to my clip in extensions!  Added boosts on TV are a must!  However, as I was researching I found that A-listers do some crazy things for the sake of beauty.  Things that make reality stars seem normal.
