With October being breast cancer awareness month, Ralph Lauren marks it’s 10th anniversary of Pink Pony – a campaign to raise awareness and funds in support of the disease that many (yes, even men) suffer from.
This year, 100 bloggers – including yours truly – are featured in the Polo campaign joining forces for the cause. It’s also the first year Polo Ralph Lauren is holding a Pink Pony online auction on Charity Buzz that will showcase over 100 items that will include everything from celebrity meet and greets to limited edition Ralph Lauren items. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Pink Pony Fund of The Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation. To date, the foundation has raised over $40 million.
The auction begins this Friday, October 1st and runs through October 21st. Place your bid today! Bidding’s not for you? Text to donate: PINKPONY to 501501 to automatically donate $10.
(Like my Pink Pony polo from the shoot? You can purchase it and donate! Check out other bloggers pics and the rest of the campaign here.)

Well, good news is after reporting on all of the backstage beauty trends and styles of New York Fashion Week’s Fall 2010 runways last spring I found several ways to take the hottest looks from runway to real way and will be talking about them for my next couple TV segments. Here’s the scoop…
Last week I attended an event at the London Hotel with other bloggers and met the one and only Cindy Crawford. I don’t normally write about beauty events I attend on a daily basis, but this one was like no other. Cindy spoke about her skincare line Meaningful Beauty, which is launching in Sephora this October and dished her beauty secrets.
When the Brazilian revolution hit America, women stormed out to their nearest salon to get waxed. Now men are joining the hairless movement and getting their bodies lasered – even down there. What a relief for 99.9% of American women whose boyfriends suffer from looking like a wooly mammoth (do women actually date those guys?).
