The average American women goes through 1-2 tubes of lip gloss per month. And if it’s her favorite lip gloss, you know she’s scraping the case. I always buy the gift sets at the holidays that come with around 6 baby sizes (not really that small) for around $30. Those seem to last me all year. I wear jeans most of the time, and I can keep one in my front pocket so it’s always at hand. Then there’s always another in my makeup bag in case. Most shades are a simple sheer pink-ish go-with-everything type – and nice and thick and shiny. And if you don’t love all of them, you didn’t invest in a full-size gloss and you probably have a friend who would like the one or two you don’t. If there’s one you love, you can then buy the full size. Also love the new tokidoki lip gloss; interesting applicator with that one and fun for the kid in you. For nighttime and serious winter moisturizing, the Dr. Haushka lipcare stick is the only way to go. Not cheap though.
